The catalogue lists 118 notable exhibits, based largely on the renowned collection of Charles E. Feinberg. 'This exhibition is in a sense the visit that Walt Whitman had always wanted to make. The letters and presentation copies of his books shown here are intimately connected with his literary friendships in the British Isles.
