1610 · B96636 — Bruxellis [Brussel], Ex officina Rutgeri Velpii [Rutger Velpius] 1610 [8] + 148 + [8] pp., with some ornamented initials, dedicated to the Archdukes Albert and Isabella, 20cm., text in Latin, contemporary full vellum binding (soiled but intact), some small wormholes in lower end of some pages (with loss of some letters but text is always well readable), 20cm., some old autograph ex-libris on first blanco endpaper and two erased contemporary inscriptions on title page, ocassional browning of paper and one single annotation in side margin of one page, despite the defects still an acceptable copy of this rare title, [Continuation of the title: "4. Initia, incrementa, Privilegia, ornamenta Oppidorum 10. Municipiorum 20. Castellorum 50. Dominiorum, Pagorumq 150. Fundationes, Monumenta, Viri & res notatu dignae Abbatiarum 5. Collegiatorum 9. Coenobiorum 63. Hospitalium 50. ex archivis singulorum locorum ipsiusq Authoris peregrinatione collectae. Cum indice triplici rerum, personarum & locorum". The book is dived into 5 parts: Taxandria (pp.1-64), Pelandia (pp.65-86), Campiniae (pp.88-112), Maeslandia (pp.113-129), Oosterwicum (pp.130-148). The last 8 pages contain an appendix dealing with the Praemonstratensian abbey of Postel.
