This publication represents a remarkable collaboration between three major figures of twentieth‑century Italian art and fine printing. The text and in‑text lithographs were printed in Verona at Giovanni Mardersteig's Officina Bodoni one of the most celebrated private presses of the period. The full‑page and double‑page lithographs were hand‑pulled in Milan by Piero Fornasetti later renowned for his iconic decorative arts.
