Light toning occasional annotations and underlining in pencil small circular owner stamp and early signature to head of title page "Edmundo Correas Abogado Mendoza." A nice copy. $150. Argentina's civil code was enacted in 1871 and with numerous modifications remains in force today. Our 1920 imprint shows how the code stood in the early 1920s. Edmundo Correas 1901-1991 was an esteemed Argentinean lawyer historian professor and author. He lived in the province of Mendoza for his entire life and dedicated himself to educational and cultural work in the region.
