Numerous period advertisements from a variety of sponsoring local merchants and firms. A delightful wartime skating programme advertising a performance organized by the Portage la Prairie branch of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of Canada and Newfoundland in collaboration with the Winnipeg Winter Club held in the spring of 1941. The booklet comprises a detailed programme of events a prefatory statement of thanks and acknowledgment a complete listing of the Officers of Portage Elks Lodge No. 32 Year 1941 and a brief history of the R.C.A.F. Band accompanied by a detailed roll of Personnel of the R.C.A.F. Band. Remarkably well preserved with bright clean unmarked leaves and a firm stapled binding; near fine. Unrecorded in OCLC. Not found in Peel BAC/LAC University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections the Manitoba Legislative Library et al.
