Black and white and color photos and illustrations appendices index. "Scholars have studied and written about the building since its construction. But their work has not pierced the public consciousness in the same way that Frank Albo has. Frank brings the Legislative Building alive as he explains why there is a sphinx on the roof why two giant bison guard the Grand Staircase and who the Golden Boy really represents. The young scholar's enthusiasm is contagious. It certainly rubbed off on Winnipeg Free Press publisher Andy Ritchie. He met Frank in the spring of 2006 and immediately knew that the newspaper had to bring the story to a wider audience" - Bob Cox Editor Winnipeg Free Press.
