Page 61 had an envelope flap stuck to the edge of the page obscuring the last few words of a paragraph. These volumes are very large and heavy and will cost more to ship than the quoted postage amount. Self-Published Hardcover

Resoconto del viaggio compiuto dal giovane Isaac Weld, che trascorse più di due anni in Nord America per studiare le condizioni per una possibile immigrazione massiva irlandese. Osservò il territorio nordamericano compreso tra il fiume San Lorenzo a nord, la Virginia a sud e Detroit a ovest, muovendosi con i mezzi più disparati (a cavallo, a piedi, in canoa, in battello e in calesse). Incontrò una popolazione quantomai variegata, e conobbe George Washington e Thomas Jefferson. Interessantissima relazione geografica ma anche su usi e costumi delle popolazioni canadesi e degli stati americani confinanti. Collana "Raccolta de' viaggi più interessanti eseguiti nelle varie parti del mondo, tanto per terra quanto per mare, dopo quelli del celebre Cook...". Ottimo esemplare.
