Front side offers a beautiful colorful butterfly with information about the location of J. Dean Hawley as well as what he specializes in selling printed in the wings of the butterfly. Opposite side offers information about the new celluloid eyeglass frames which a much lighter stronger and durable than others. The frames are not affected by atmospheric changes and are made with different sized frames for various face sizes. The springs on the frames will not rust and the lenses will accurately focus. This small menu dated April 6 1882 is assumed to be from the Wilson House located in Wilson New York. The restaurant and inn was built in 1844 and is still open today. Menu items include Oysters from the Providence River Cold Dishes such as Pressed Corned Beef Salads Cake examples include Sponge Cake and Charlotte Russe and Ice Cream. The front of the menu is a bright colorful picture of a young stylish lady with the following quote . "If love is a nettle that makes you smart Then why do you wear it next your heart" PATIENCE." In 1814 Columbia University Medical School merged into the College of Physicians and Surgeons a move that was made in an attempt to stymie what was then seen as a period of decline for the medical school. By the date of this report there was widespread feuding between professors and trustees. The Regents appointed a committee to visit the College and to make a report to the legislature on means of correcting the situation. This is their report! An apparently unrecorded broadside in eleven sections outlining regulations concerning the handling of meat poultry and other food in Centre Market in Albany New York. This was one of three public markets established in 1836; the others were the North Market and South Market. The laws address hours of operation allocation of stalls licensing costs of permits and the salary of the market's superintendent. Section ten repeals previous laws and section eleven decrees that this law will take effect on 8 February.
