An unrecorded Michigan newspaper produced briefly we assume by the Muskegon Unemployed Council. In addition to exposing corruption and mismanagement within Muskegon's municipal government the paper makes repeated invitations to unemployed workers to join the Communist Party and read the Daily Worker suggesting the Unemployed Council was if not an official CP front then at least heavily infiltrated by CP members and fellow travelers. This issue includes coverage of the Ford Hunger March in which 5 protesting workers were shot to death by Ford Company guards outside the gates of the River Rouge Plant.<br/><br/>Rare; we find no examples in the trade July 2015 with one location only in OCLC Library of Michigan; not found in the North American Union List of Serials 1939 ed.
