Albers.NL Decoratieve poster van een oude foto van L.J.P. Albers van de blauwe tram in Den Haag nieuwe Scheveningse bosjes. De Blauwe Tram reed op zaterdag 31 augustus 1957 voor het laatst van Voorburg naar Scheveningen. In september 1942 moest de Blauwe Tramlijn op last van de Duitse bezetter Scheveningen verlaten in verband met de bouw van de Atlantikwall. Pas in het voorjaar van 1947 kon de Blauwe Tram eindelijk weer doorrijden naar Scheveningen. De Voorburgse burgemeester dr. J.W. Nooteboom sprak bij de feestelijke heropening dat Voorburg weer aan de kust kwam te liggen. Helaas was dat van korte duur. Gelijktijdig met het afscheid te Scheveningen in 1957 verdween de Blauwe Tram op het baanvak AmsterdamHaarlemZandvoort 's nachts uitgeleide gedaan door duizenden toeschouwers. Rothschild who based on the warm correspondence must have been a good friend. Envelope that contained the letter is taped to the verso of the title page. A highly desirable association copy. One of 1250 copies 50 of which signed and numbered. Although not called for this copy is SIGNED by Combs on ffep and dated 4/7/61; he has also written above his signature lettered over the cats herein. Combs an itinerant queer poet who has been called the secret Beat published his first collection in 1957 which contained forewords by both Kenneth Rexroth and William Carlos Williams who wrote that Combs has in himself the making of a superb artist; he was also a collaborator with Allen Ginsberg.
