Albers.NL Decoratieve poster van een oude foto van L.J.P. Albers van de blauwe tram in Den Haag nieuwe Scheveningse bosjes. De Blauwe Tram reed op zaterdag 31 augustus 1957 voor het laatst van Voorburg naar Scheveningen. In september 1942 moest de Blauwe Tramlijn op last van de Duitse bezetter Scheveningen verlaten in verband met de bouw van de Atlantikwall. Pas in het voorjaar van 1947 kon de Blauwe Tram eindelijk weer doorrijden naar Scheveningen. De Voorburgse burgemeester dr. J.W. Nooteboom sprak bij de feestelijke heropening dat Voorburg weer aan de kust kwam te liggen. Helaas was dat van korte duur. Gelijktijdig met het afscheid te Scheveningen in 1957 verdween de Blauwe Tram op het baanvak AmsterdamHaarlemZandvoort 's nachts uitgeleide gedaan door duizenden toeschouwers. La nascita degli omnibus, dei tramways a cavalli nella seconda metà dell'800, la trasformazione della rete tranviaria con veicoli elettrici (alla fine del XIX secolo), lo sdoppiamento delle società esercenti i servizi, le difficoltà economiche in cui entrambe (la Società Sicula Tramways-Omnibus e Les Tramways de Palerme) sono vissute per buona parte della loro vita, sono oggetto di questo volume che presenta la storia dei tram a Palermo, oltre che con il testo, con un ricco panorama iconografico, fatto di documenti e di fotografie.

In 1954 the US Post Office declared it obscene leading to a four-year legal battle chronicled in its pages that concluded with a favorable decision as part of Roth vs. United States. Aside from its articles covering topics ranging from the Beatniks and Gay marriage to homosexuality and national security One Magazine also featured poetry and short fiction by numerous prominent authors.
