Volume One clxviii 458pp 25 Volume Two 14 815pp. Full contemporary leather boards stamped in blind volume two with a design on the boards and gilt on the spine each section with its own title page and copyright date. Both are ex-library with labels and tape on the spines and markings inside both with general wear and rubbing to the boards and spines Volume One lacking the initial title page which has been replaced with a Xerox reproduction Volume Two with the boards separated and held to the text block with library tape and with the gilt on the spine faded overall a good or better set. Volume Two advertises a third volume that does not appear to have ever been published. Full brown leather binding with five raised bands and burgundy slip/gilt lettering on the spine. New end-papers. 260pp. Covers have some very light and small scuff marks. Previous owner's name written on flyleaf. Inside contains foxing and a few pages have a little writing on them pencil thus eraseable. An attractive little book in very good condition especially considering the year in which it was published. Full refund if not satisfied.
