Quality and condition are remarkably good considering the age and purpose of the book. Paper covers show moderate edge wear but no tears. Cloth spine is worn at corners with a small open tear but otherwise fully intact; no separation from binding. Binding is tight. Pages darkened where a bookmark and paperclip were placed bumped at corners. All pages intact and largely unmarked save one of six included inspection cards filled out in July 1915. Manual contains associated ephemera pictured: "New York State General Highway Traffic Law 1917" and "Hudson Owners' Bulletin Number 20." Fascinating artifact for the early automobile enthusiast!
