Oversize harback with red illustrated paper over green cloth boards. 10"w x 12 1/4"h. Elaborate color map endpapers of the Saint Lawrence River, several other maps inside. Back of cover has a presentation seal identifying the book as #4485, presented to "The N.E. Dairyman" in neat cursive pen. An introduction by the commissioners, after which the book has text on the L. page with a very large b&w photo on the right, captioned below, displaying some element of the Port or some aspect of the Montreal harbor, all on glossy paper.
Charming four-panel, two-sided vintage two-color travel brochure with twelve photos including the Juarez, Mexico Bull-Ring. One-panel features a side-trip offered to the Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Undated but the cars in one photo and very low prices suggest a printing date in the 1940s. Unmarked with light wear. It shows all the fare stages of every route run by Halifax Corporation and fares between every one of these stages. Fascinating social history for the transport enthusiast. Very scarce.

Unpaginated. ca 300pp. Very similar to the British Humber Mk.IV armoured car, the Fox was manufactured by General Motors of Canada. It was armed with a .50 and .30 cal machine gun in a hand-cranked turret. It saw limited duty in the Italian theatre, reconnaissance and escort units in northern Europe opted for M3A3 Stuarts, as well as Staghound and Daimler armoured cars. 1506 Foxes were manufactured in total. This manual covers every detail of the vehicle, and includes stowage diagrams. Document originally published in 1942. Scarce.
