Continúa la respuesta del Comandante General de Marina. A continuación Aubarede sugiere lo útil que resultaría una goleta de regular porte para realizar su trabajo en Filipinas. Guillermo de Aubarede permaneció 4 años en el cargo donde realizó una importante labor, fijando varios puntos con sus arrecifes y bajos.
