19192249New York: Indochina Solidarity Committee May 19 1974.

Quarto-sized newsletter 11 x 8 1/2 inches; 280 x 215 mm 17 1 pages stapled at top left. Upper wrapper printed on heavy card stock.

Scarce copy of newsletter published by the Indochina Solidarity Committee a left-wing group that opposed the war in Southeast Asia. The upper wrapper features a poem by Ho Chi Minh as well as a striking illustration followed by articles about the war in Vietnam Laos and Cambodia. There's also an article "Mean Streets and Clean Streets: Saigon and Hanoi" which compares the two cities. Hanoi comes out on top in every respect which is not surprising given the ideological orientation of this newsletter.

While a number of institutions hold copies of the Newsletter this particular issue seems much more elusive.

CONDITION: Slight edge wear internally clean bright and unmarked. Near Fine. Indochina Solidarity Committee books
