Lawrence successfully installed in 1936. The committee listed at the end of the text was comprised of F. M. Allenby Herbert Baker Winston Churchill Lionel Curtis Augustus John G. Bernard Shaw and Evelyn Wrench - men famous in their own right and all friends colleagues and admirers of Lawrence.</p> <p>Copies are held in the collection of Phillip M O'Brien the bibliographer of all works on Lawrence the Bodleian Library Oxford UK and in a private collection in California.
