Exhibition catalog for a show held at the publisher's gallery in excellent condition. Binding is solid and square, ochre cloth-covered boards with title stamped in brown on cover and spine, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. 11-1/4 x 12-3/8 inches. Dust jacket shows the slightest signs of shelf wear, some corner wear, one 1/4" tear top front, illustrated with photo at front. Photographs and text by Emmet Gowin. Introduction by Martha Chahroudi. Presumably this is Samuel Sidney McClure (b.1857 d.1949), an Irish-American publisher known widley as a preeminent parctitioner of muckraking journalism and co-founder of McClure's Magazine.
