Ahmet Serif was a supporter of the Union and Progress (Ittihad ve Terakki) Firstly this travel notes are serialized in Tanin newspaper. This book includes all travel notes of him. Those involves his observations on the Anatolian cities and districts in 1909-13. He puts also special emphasis on the relations of Turks and Armenians in his notes. TBTK 2426.; Özege 773. Very Good French Eight panels of panoramic photograph folded into original printed light brown card wrappers titled "Souvenir d'Alep (Syrie). / Panoramique d'Alep" and "Editeur Wattar Freres, Alep (Syrie)" on the cover. Open size: 9x112 cm. In French. Contemporarily repaired verso of hinges by tape, overall a fine copy. Scarce wide-angle black and white photo-lithographic panoramic view of one of the oldest and most important cities of the Islamic Middle East, Aleppo of Syria, taken at twilight time, in the 1920s, when the country was under the French Occupation between 1920-22. This attractive photograph was edited and also probably taken by the Wattar Brothers, who were the famous and prolific editors and photographers of Syria and Southeast Anatolia including Kilis, Aintab (today: Gaziantep), etc. The Wattar Freres' descendants were present in Syria until the early 2000s (Serifoglu). This panorama is uncommon, showing many architectural buildings peculiar to Aleppo are no longer in place after the wars, especially the ongoing Syrian Civil War.

Not recorded in any platform and library, extremely rare propaganda pamphlet prepared for 60's Turkey by the UAR, The United Arab Republic. On the frontispiece, the leader of the UAR, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser's iconic words with his portrait by Moheeb. The pamphlet includes the UAR's vision usually and its social and economic policies, projects, Suez Canal, Al-Wady al-Gadid, industry, navigation, mining, oil and its industry, agriculture and agricultural reforms, livestock, culture and education, medicine, water, tourism, etc. Extremely rare.

Bell'esemplare marginoso ed in barbe di questa importante e rara grammatica siriaca, compilata da uno specialista delle lingue orientali, che non si limita alla mera traduzione dei vari nomi, ma accompagna con una spiegazione lessicale e con ampi esempi i vari modi grammaticali. Al fondo del volume le ultime otto pagine sono completamente in lingua siriaca. Stampato su carta forte e croccante, piuttosto polverose le barbe e gli angoli esterni del frontespizio (una macchia scura all'angolo inferiore). Efficace, completo e di scarsissima reperibilità.

Pubblicazione contenente il diario di viaggio, scandito da foto in b/n, di un viaggio realizzato con due torpedo 503 ed una 509 attraverso il deserto della Siria partendo da Beirut. Il racconto del viaggio prosegue poi dal Mar Rosso al Nilo azzurro. Segue il racconto del conte Jean De Neufbourg di un altro viaggio fatto nel Regno dei Tuareg; poi uno della conquista del deserto australiano e un altro in Costa Rica tutti compiuti a bordo delle vetture Fiat.
