This is a near fine hardcover copy in a near fine dust jacket with virtually no wear. Completely clean inside and out. The lower right corner of the front board a bit bumped, not affecting text block at all. This is an illustrated history of the celebrated Taj Hotel in Mumbai, known simply as the Taj. It was first established in 1903 and quickly gained a reputatation as India's finest hotel. This book is full of archival or vintage photographs of the hotel in its' heyday. Lots of color photographs of the hotel both exterior and interior shots of rooms, and the many public areas. It also tells the story of the rebuilding of the hotel after the 2008 terrorist attack. 13" high X 11" wide, 336 pages.Scarce. Large heavy book, foreign shipping will be extra.
