Ihsan Ali¿ye duyulan bu sevgi ve saygi, onun Teskilat tarafindan, ¿öldürülmesinin Kibrisli Türkler arasinda yaratacagi toplumsal zararin, hayatta kalmasindan daha büyük olacagina kanaat getirilmesine¿ yol açti. Ve böylece infazindan vazgeçildi."1940¿da Baf'ta 'Türk Dernegi' adini tasiyan tek örgütün baskanligina seçildim. Ilk amacim, Dernege bir bayrak bulmak oldu. Tüm Kibris'taki milli bayramlarda, her zaman en önde olmaktan geri kalmadik. Sömürge yönetiminin her firsatta bogmaya çalistigi ulusal duygulari, Dernegimiz güçlendiriyordu.
