Small white sticker affixed to bottom of spine with the number '700.' Age-toning to textblock with tanning along side edge. Inscribed by Nadeau on half-title page. This is a collection of Sade's works selected by Nadeau featuring an essay on Sade's continued significance by Nadeau's colleague Pascal Pia. Nadeau was a French writer and literary critic who was a member of the resistance during the occupation.
