Collated finding 3 frontispieces 3 engraved title pages and 3 regular title pages 39 engraved plates of which two are folding and 28 maps. Volume I: xx 640pp. volume II and III: with continuous pagination; xx 680 and xv 13941pp. directions to the binder. Bound in contemporary calf trimmed in a decorative gilt design spines ruled in gilt with compartments lettered and decorated in gilt all edges marbled with marbled endpapers from the Hadley Young Man's Library with their gift plate and a few leaves discreetly marked with their stamp. Scattered foxing toning or off-setting previous owner's name dated 1845. A very good set. Samuel Walker unknown books
