FREE UPGRADE to Courier/Priority Shipping Upon Request IN STOCK AND IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FOR SHIPMENT - Flawless copy brand new pristine never opened -- 338 pages. Description: "Noted British art critic Denys Sutton has produced a praiseworthy monograph on the enigmatic but illustrious master. Degas fits no category though he exhibited with the Impressionists whose color and movement he embraced even while deploring the term itself. Among such giants as Monet and Renoir Degas holds his own. He did not abandon the linear tradition exemplified by Ingres but progressed from perceptive family portraits and historical pictures to the real world of the racetrack the theater and especially the ballet. This monumental book vividly develops the personality of Degas and analyzes his work partly through previously unpublished extracts of his correspondence. One hundred superior color reproductions plus 194 black-and-white illustrations and photographs enhance this all-inclusive critique and biography. " -- with a bonus offer-- - May be EITHER: out of print OOP and extremely rare in this pristine condition; signed by author or contributor; or a first or special edition; inquire for details . 1976List1517Los Angeles 1976. Eight kodachrome slides showing Foxx with one possibly related slide of a woman included as well. Unpublished originally taken for the May 6 1976 issue of Jet Magazine Vol. 50 No. 7 which is also included here. Fine condition magazine nearly fine with slightest tanning. Fine. Redd Foxx left NBC in 1976 after a successful run of six seasons of Sanford and Sun and went to ABC producing a short-lived show called The Redd Foxx Comedy Hour which was canceled after its first season due to poor ratings despite wide critical acclaim. Jet Magazine covered the transition in an article in 1976 with photographs by Isaac Sutton. Offered here are eight unused images from the shoot capturing Foxx in a range of setings including a swimming pool and on his moped riding around Los Angeles. A nice group from the height of Foxx’s career in comedy although his stint at ABC would wind up being a disappointment considering his earlier success. unknown
