Angmagssalik, con i panorami selvaggi offerti dai ghiacciai da cui sistaccano giganteschi iceberg, i villaggi con le casette di legno colorato, la disponibilità degli abitanti, rappresenta uno degli ultimi angoli immacolati del Pianeta, favorevole al richiamo di un turismo alla ricerca di nuovi mondi: dal remotissimo villaggio di Isertoq, con unavvicinamento di poche ore, si raggiunge l'Inlandsis, si possono ricercare e studiare specie botaniche rare o endemiche, osservare la fauna artica. Si possono inoltre praticare il trekking, lo scialpinismo, il kayak, le uscite invernali sulle slitte trainate dai cani, le gite in barca, il bird watching estivo e l'avvistamento delle foche, l'alpinismo e la glacio-speleologia: non dimentichiamo che la Groenlandia rappresenta, per questa manifestazione estrema ed avanzata della speleologia, un mondo ancora tutto da esplorare.
