Full red pebbled cloth stamped in blind with gilt titles marbled edges two yellow ribbon markers. A little wear to the head of the backstrip and the tips of the covers pages a little toned a few scattered traveller’s notes pencil very good with almost no wear to the many fragile fold-out maps. § Seventh edition revised and augmented with 28 maps 65 plans and a panorama. As in all Baedeker guides the enormously informative text is triumph of concision. The maps and travel plans are meant to aid the traveler so as to make him independent and thus the captain of his own voyage immune to the tricks and traps that befall the average tourist.
