Harbour scene; in foreground figures on shore boats moored alongside including rowing boat with figures at centre and beyond at left buildings including the Arch of Titus. Inscribed on the top of the arch: TITVS.The related painting in the Hermitage was made for Charles Beaumanoir Bishop of Le Mans who is recorded in Rome in 1635 and it is therefore likely that this etching dates from then rather than 1634 which is a date found written probably after the artist's death on some proofs see Michael Kitson review of Lino Mannocci The Etchings of Claude Lorrain ""Print Quarterly"" 7 1990 p. 461.The signature is not there yet.
