200706923THE WINTER OF ARTIFICE Sky Blue Press 2007 first American and first hardcover edition as new in dust-wrapper. Of 525 published copies this is 1/25 copies numbered and SIGNED by Benjamin Franklin V the author of the 24 page introduction. Of these 25 five have also been SIGNED by the publisher. This is one of the five so double SIGNED. Also included with this special edition is a rare photographic image of Nin from 1930's Paris and a facsimile of an excerpt from her handust-wrapper ritten 1939 diary concerning the book HENRY MILLER AND LAWRENCE DURRELL. Save for the introduction and other preliminary matter this is a replication of the rare 1939 uncensored Obelisk Press edition and not to be confused with the 1942 privately printed Gemor Press edition of 500 copies whose text was much revised and decidedly different. The contents of this work have been out of print for nearly 70 years. Sky Blue Press hardcover
