1976440198no place - Zurich: Self-published 1976. Softcover. Fine. Handmade photo album. Measuring approximately 8¼" x 7". 15ff. Illustrated with 12 color photographs laid down 10 measuring 6½" x 5" and two slightly cropped at the sides. Comb-bound at the topedge. Light wear else fine.

A handmade souvenir photo album of Henry Moore sculptures from the Expo Henry Moore at Zurich's Zurcher Forum June-August 1976. The album was gifted to famed author and diarist Anaïs Nin a few months before her death. The creator must have been a friend of Nin's. The first leaf is a note that reads: "Dear Anaïs! I took some photographes sic for you! It is a wonder the exposition! I hope you are not too discontented about your health! So much love name illegible." The next leaf is a manuscript title page and twelve color photographs of Moore's sculptures follow. They are nicely composed but do appear to be amateur photographs possibly made specifically for Nin. The cover leaf is dated August 20 1976. Nin would pass away less than five months later on January 14 1977.

A touching keepsake for an ailing friend. Self-published unknown
