First edition, [124]pp., unpaginated, from the library of John Davies Enys with his bookplate to front paste-down, cont. sheep, rubbed, covers holding by cords, library number to foot of spine. "... for the use of my own Sunday School, as a profitable change of employment in the course of Sunday instruction. But as two hundred may be printed with almost as much ease as ten, and at a trifling increase of expense, I allowed the above number to be taken off; and they are now offered to the Teachers of Schools at the price of printing."
First edition, 4to, [2], iv, 26pp., title page mounted on a stub, folding engraved plate, presentation inscription on title "from the Author to Davis Giddy Esqr. [Davies Gilbert]", 4pp. list of subscribers provided "from a copy given me by J. Rashleigh. J. D. Enys", several ink corrections and annotations (by the author?), small neat stamp to fly-leaf, without the final leaf that contains a note announcing the issue of the engravings, marbled endpapers, nineteenth century half green morocco, spine gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut, a nice copy. A note pasted in at the end "Mr. F. is sorry he cannot send with this a Plate of the Window, but he has only one copy left.", later provided by Mr Rashleigh of Menabilly. A early ink note on the title refers to the author "The Revd. Benjamin Forster, Rector of Boconnoc & St. Michael Carhayes in Cornwall."
