Da segnalare la presenza in orchestra di Gioacchino Bimboni (e del fratello Giovanni) flautista, trombonista (dal 1845 al servizio della Cappella Granducale lorenese), didatta e teorico noto come sperimentatore organologo e costruttore di strumenti da lui chiamati "bimbofoni": strumento agilissimo il suo trombone verticale con 7 valvore da azionare a 2 mani; collaborò con Rossini e Strauss padre, e fece anche parte delle bande musicali militari di Firenze e Siena. Ottime condizioni, salvo rade ingialliture.
