A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked blue cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Well-rubbed dust jacket not price clipped with piece missing from upper rear edge, dusty rear. Very scarce in the UK. 145pp. From the earliest contact of physicians with tribespeople whose health lay in the healing power of native medicine men in upcoast British Columbia with their drums, rattles and potions, this very readable account tells how the latest scientific medicine came to whites and natives alike.
Book is in excellent condition with creaseless covers and spine, a little shelf wear only. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no other blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. 320 pages, green page ends, The glue in this perfect bound book is over 50 years old and is likely fragile. publisher's page has the words "First Dell Printing" (mo. yr.). Luckily there's a white guy with a rifle.
