Rubbing to the rear cover cloth. Dulling/sun-fading to the spine cloth. The binding is sound and the contents are clean. A 1970 letter to a New York autograph dealer is laid in with the dealer's responding note at the bottom of the letter and in the dealer's return envelope identifying the prior owner's initials at the front endpaper as belonging to Prime Minister Arthur James Balfour.
