Seven early issues of Bill Schwartz's periodical promoting and disecting the worlds of doo-wop early rock and roll and r & b music and musicians. Sold here as a group. Includes Vol. One No. Six 9 Vol. Two No. 1 2 3 4 and 5. Some of the bands featured in these issues included The Moonbeems The Friegos The Chessmen 5 Jades and Acappella Disco among others. All issues a bit soiled but still in very good collectible condition. The magazine ran for 27 issues in total. Later issues would change format and become larger and glossier. Da questo assunto nasce l'idea di Time after time, un modo originale per raccontare passo passo quello che di notevole, interessante, curioso, memorabile, degno di essere tramandato, è successo nelle cronache del pop-rock dagli albori ad oggi. In una cavalcata divertente, che associa i massimi sistemi agli episodi più periferici, attraversati dai personaggi che hanno popolato le classifiche, gli stadi, i cinema, le trasmissioni radiofoniche e televisive, troviamo migliaia di notizie, nomi, titoli, festival con cui tracciare e ricordare la colonna sonora delle musiche che amiamo. E se lo scorrere del tempo viene punteggiato anche da tragedie e morti, evidenziati con una breve indicazione biografica, una sezione finale riassume, dal 1° gennaio al 31 dicembre, le date di nascita e i compleanni degli artisti più rappresentativi dell'ultimo secolo. Ogni anno, inoltre, viene introdotto da una nota che aiuta a contestualizzare il periodo e gli avvenimenti extramusicali.
