Edition décorée de treize compositions en couleur d'Henri Bellery-Desfontaines, gravées par Ernest Florian (le vient de paraître, qui en reproduit 2, en annonce 17 !). Encadrement décoré, titres, lettres, portées à l'encre rouge. Tous ces détails font de cet ouvrage un magnifique illustré. Le prospectus Vient de paraître est relié après la première couverture. Le poème Erlkönig, écrit en 1782, fut mis de nombreuses fois en musique et la version de Schubert est la plus connu. Elle fut composée en 1813. Le texte fut quant à lui traduit par Charles Nodier, Jacques Porchat et donc ici Catulle Mendès. Reliure signée G Hermand (inconnu à Fléty), bradel plein veau marbré, dos lisse, décor doré et à froid sur les plats, roulette en bordure des contreplats, tête dorée, couvertures et dos conservés. Frottis aux coins, dos, mors. Petite tache sur 2 feuillets. Superbe ouvrage, peu commun.

Complete facsimile edition in the original format of the Codex 1164 of the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw.<br /> <br /> The Warsaw Codex 1164 of the Jewish Historical Institute is a picture Bible on 123 leaves illustrating the first five books of MosesPentateuch. It is not a continuous illustrated Bible but a collection of pictures with explanation and tiles. The only comparison in Jewish literature is the Sephardic Pessach-Hagadot. The Warsaw Codes is a unique copy of the lost woodcut series of the Pentateuch. The creation of the world is depicted at the beginning followed by the five books of Moses and it is closing with the description of Moses' death. Castellazzo's picture Pentateuch combines several traditions of depiction to a unique whole.<br /> <br /> The original Codex does not contain any clues of the previous owner's identity.There is also no explanation that the same manuscript carries the inventory number 926 in 1955 and the inventory number 1164 in 1982. The original manuscript created on the leaves of brindled paper showing a lot of foxed markings. On some of the pages a watermark is recognizable showing an anchor in a circle with a Star of David above. However because the sheets of paper were cut before they were used not a single of the watermarks is complete. Today the binding consist of a cardboard plate with a parchment spine. Erste Ausgabe des vollständigen Faksimiles von Schuberts Sinfonie Nr.7 die als sein berühmtestes Werk auf symphonischem Gebiet gilt. Das bald unter dem Beinamen 'Unvollendete' eingebürgerte Werk ist nur als Fragment erhalten und wurde erst am 17. Dezember 1865 uraufgeführt. Die erste Veröffentlichung erschien 1867 bei Spina Wien.Die Reinschrift wurde - so die Datierung auf dem Titelblatt - am 30. Oktober 1822 begonnen. Die beiden ersten Sätze sind vollständig aufgezeichnet. Von einem 3. Satz liegt noch eine Seite mit neun Takten vor die restlichen Blätter fehlen. Der Grad der Ausarbeitung lässt jedoch vermuten dass auch dieser Satz vollständig ausgeführt vorlag. Es handelt sich nämlich trotz einiger Korrekturen bei jenen 70 Seiten um eine Reinschrift der bereits umfangreiche Arbeiten vorausgegangen sein müssen. Soweit noch erhalten sind von diesen Aufzeichnungen sechseinhalb Seiten eines autographen Klavierparticells angehängt; es liegt hier als das damals gesamte bekannte Material zu Schuberts berühmtester Sinfonie vor. - ""Der Autograph von Franz Schuberts H-moll-Sinfonie 'Unvollendete' wurde im Auftrag des Drei Masken Verlages A.-G. München im Frühjahre 1923 erstmalig vollständig reproduziert.
