brossura Lo studio analizza la nozione di relazione che Meister Eckhart delineò nei suoi scritti latini, prendendo parte a quella densa discussione sorta tra il XII e il XIII secolo intorno alla categoria che Aristotele aveva definito in relazione ad alterum; una discussione che coinvolgeva tutti gli ambiti della filosofia, muovendosi tanto sul piano gnoseologico quanto su quello ontologico, non meno che su quello teologico. L'indagine si svolge attraverso la lettura dei luoghi cruciali dell'opera latina in cui il maestro domenicano tedesco definì il concetto di relatio, e ripercorre in questo modo le diverse fasi e i diversi aspetti della sua teoria: a partire dagli anni delle prime Quaestiones parisienses sino alle ultime formulazioni in Expositio s. evangelii sec. Iohannem. Viene proposto inoltre un commento analitico delle Quaestiones parisienses VII, VIII e IX di recentissima edizione, in cui Meister Eckhart discuteva dalla cattedra di Parigi proprio il problema della relazione.
