The publisher planned a 5-program series of conversations and performance called 'Music on Television.' This was the first of the programs and was based on the Saroyan play. Saroyan joined Jack Beeson and conductor Peter Herman Adler in a discussion which also included sneak previews of the scenes. It was followed by the premier of the opera on March 17 1970. The details are filled out in the press releases. Opera starred Gerald Harrington Alan Crofoot Kenneth Smith and Lili Chookasain. A near fine collection. Photographs are fine. Accompanied by a copy of letter from James Taylor Dunn a Saroyan fan and collector Librarian Minnesota Historical Society requesting 'any material - photos publicity relaeses etc.- which you can send me.'
