Patterned endpapers and board charmingly bound in striped fabric of Alsace; with evocative illustrations many of them full page. A light stain to the front board; otherwise a clean and bright copy. Laid in is a manuscript translation of the text into English -- 25 pages plus a title leaf in beautiful handwriting. Bottom corner is bumped but this is a more than presentable copy with no marks of any kind.
