USA Three vinyl LP records in an album bound in green velvet with gold border and titles in a 37 x 32 cm grey cardboards slipcase with pastedown of a flute player in an Italian architectural setting. Includes a 24-page booklet of biographical and analytical notes by Joseph Braunstein of the Music Division of the New York Public Library. There is a fine scuff mark to the first track of side 6 but the track plays through nicely without pops the other surfaces are free of any obvious visible faults thus Near Fine in Very Good album with some rubbint ot edges and spine in Very Good slipcase with some wer to leading corner tips. This is copy 1140 of a limited edition of 5000. Gastone Tassinari flute supported by I Musici Virtuosi di Milano. This iset appeared in 1956 and in the booklet Vivaldi is called "The Forgotten Composer". Surprisingly there are no notes on the flautist Tassinari nor the I Musici Virtuosi. The tempo of the playing seems to be slower than many more modern interpretations. Uncommon. A heavy set. 4.4 JM FRT01. Very Good. Used Vinyl LP records. Vox hardcover

The third fifth and 12th concertos from op. 3 along with the concerto published individually under the title 'The Cuckow' RV 335 became staples of the repertoire of many violinists were arranged for a variety of instruments and were extracted for use in violin tutors throughout the 18th century and beyond. Nowhere was the enthusiasm for Vivaldi's concertos stronger than in Germany.
