Beveled edges. Gilt lettering on the spine is still bright as is the gold-embossed illustration of a globe on the front cover. Minimal foxing on a few pages. NO owner's name or bookplate. This is the U.S. edition complete in one 536-page volume. "Illustrated with 250 maps or figures and 27 maps printed in colors." The spine is gilt-lettered still bright and shiny. A guide to the "history facts and principles" of electricity with descriptions of how to perform experiments using "apparatus so simple and inexpensive as to be within everybody's reach."
