A proposed agreement between The Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT and Harvard University for moving all courses leading to degrees in Mechanical Electrical Civil and Sanitary Engineering Mining and Metallurgy to the MIT campus. <br/><br/>Marked 'Confidential' the document is an engaging and detailed agreement between the two Cambridge educational institutions detailing the working arrangements including funding students and teachers. Funding would have been provided by both schools and faculty would have been shared jointly with MIT being ultimately responsible for reporting on the annual results. Section V in this version of the agreement refers to the 1913-14 school year resulting in our dating it as we have.<br/><br/>The project was supported by Harvard's Eliot but after continuing attempts to merge the operations and the involvement of the courts from 1904 to 1917 the idea was ultimatey abandoned.
