This is the original 1908 first edition and not a modern reprint, with an interesting provenance: Thomas Thorne Baker was an English researcher and inventor in the early XX century with interests varying from chemistry to photography and electricity. He pioneered the electrical transmission of photographs, anticipating the facsimile machine.
