Die Rechnung der Berliner Gaswerke vom 12. Juli 1944 beinhaltet auf der Rückseite ein interessantes Zeugnis von damaliger Normalität. Die Illustration zeigt eine Stadtoberfläche bei erhelltem Himmel (Luftkrieg) mit der Überschrift "Die Hausfrau von Heute". Der folgende Text gibt dann Anweisungen zum Verhalten bei Angriffen. Es heißt hier: "Nach neuester Entscheidung des Reichsluftfahrtministeriums ist es erwünscht, bereits bei Flakbeschuß und Bombenwurf eine im Hause vorhandene Gas-Hauptabsperrvorrichtung zu schließen." Seltene Archivalie aus dem Bombenkrieg im letzten Kriegsjahr über Berlin!
