This is a beautiful illustrated book: The emphasis is on the detailed miniatures reproduced here in full-page color plates. Interior clean and tight without marks. Outer boards appear to be aged manuscript on surface; with decorated banners and scroll work with blue letters on spine. Two orange ribbons are missing. There is one bumped corner and 1/2" cracks are starting on head and tail of spine. A marvelous collection of illustrations from the Middle Ages. Gaston Maillet and Co unknown books
