Yellowish-tan cloth binding with gold lettering on spine and large gold Chinese characters on the front board. NEAR FINE book in VERY GOOD dust jacket. Book is bright and clean tight and square with no sunning. Fine except for a very slight bump at the top spine end. Flawless interior. No previous owner markings. Dust jacket has some light wear along the edges more so at the top spine end and some very light wear on the surface of the front panel. Otherwise bright and clean with no sun-fading. Jacket is protected in an archival mylar cover. Author was "a Chinese-American restaurateur and chef best known for founding and managing The Mandarin restaurant in San Francisco California. . . .
