Andrea Coccia ci racconta come l'industria automobilistica abbia completamente plasmato il mondo in cui viviamo, creando una società costruita attorno all'automobile. A partire dal passaggio da ferrovie ad autostrade, per giungere ai nostri giorni e alle nostre città costantemente intasate dalle colonne di automobili bloccate l'una dietro l'altra, l'autore ci apre gli occhi sull'urgenza di opporci a un mondo al servizio dell'automobile e immagina nuove strategie di mobilità più sostenibili.

br. Tra i grandi editori del primo Novecento, Formíggini scrisse negli anni Venti e Trenta una serie di articoli sul mondo dei libri, affrontandone gli aspetti più spinosi e comici ed elargendo consigli su questa insidiosa professione. Apparvero sulle pagine della sua rivista «L'Italia che scrive» e confluirono nel volume postumo "Trent'anni dopo. Storia di una casa editrice" (Formíggini, 1951). Questa raccolta, selezionata e introdotta dal saggista Antonio Castronuovo, ne ripropone gli scritti più divertenti: "Come si diventa editore", "I consigli agli editori", "I libri in omaggio", "Il francobollo per la risposta", "Il libro dei librai". Ne affiora il mondo dell'editoria dell'epoca, con le sue difficoltà e contraddizioni, alcune delle quali davvero molto simili a quelle odierne, ma anche la figura di Formíggini a cui guardare con rinnovata ammirazione e rispetto.
