La sua opera principale benché di carattere astronomico è - Analyse des refractions astronomiques et terrestres - In questa opera affronta il problema della elasticità dell'aria in relazione alla sua densità ma soprattutto presenta una dettagliata tavola numerica delle funzioni trascendentali che cosi divenne importante nel CALCOLO DELLE PROBALITA' da essere chiamata " Kramp's trascendental", introdusse anche la funzione "n".
