It opens to reveal marbled end-papers which are followed by after the ownership signatures an attractive engraving of the wise men with baby Jesus which has been laid down on the blank lead preceding the title page. This page was added later and not part of the original book.<br /> The text is ruled in red throughout. AEG. In good condition with binding completely intact but some aging to the paper. Gold edges are very good. Some occasional scattered foxing The provenance can be traced through the inked ownership and later gift inscription! The front free end-paper with inked ownership by "Christian Lady Boston" The writing follows as: Daughter of P.
