This copy in near fine condition with a few scattered spots to the boards some light rubbing to the edges and a PO stamp to the title page; housed in a clean and bright good dust jacket that shows extensive tape repair to the verso rubbing and chipping to the ends and edges and a few short closed tears to the panel edges including a couple of chips to the top of the back panel. Overall a presentable and collectible copy of a book hard to find with the jacket; not remaindered not price clipped $5.95 intact not ex-library; in a protective Mylar sleeve and will ship well wrapped in a sturdy box. The book is in good condition with some very slight shelf wear very slight foxing to top of page block. The endpapers have toning due to inlaid newspaper articles which have been removed. Otherwise the interior is clean and tight. Illustrated in black & white. Pictures available upon request. The dust jacket is in poor condition with some tears and chipping to edges. Previous owner used tape on the inside of the dust jacket not price clipped $7.50. "This intimate autobiography written when Nicklaus at age 28 was already the greatest golfer in the world provides insight into his upbringing and how he pursued his golfing goals. He was already the best golfer in the world and he felt he had a wonderful story to tell and he did.
