Todo ello con curiosísimas fotografías del propio autor de interés etnográfico. Christensen fue un célebre aviador de Hamburgo, héroe de la Guerra Europea y piloto de pruebas de la Dornier después, que en 1930 volaría a Nueva York con el mayor aparato de sus días: un hidro Dornier DoX. Durante la WWII fue el Oficial al Mando en la ocupada Holanda hasta el final de la misma.
